Why we should have 3-days weekend (persuasive writing)

“Why do you think we should have 3-days weekend?”

I think we should have a three day weekend every week because we do too much work and we are also busy with church. A lot of time during the weekend is taken up at church for a lot of people. some churches start at 11am and finish at 3pm so you have to be there for 3 hours. So much time!! If we had three day weekend, we would still have time on the third day to relax.

We also need to spend more time with family, because school has taken most of our time to do work but never spend time with family and friends, I miss spending time with my family all the time but now that school has started I’m busy with homework, So if we had a three day weekend we would have more time with our family.

We need some sleep too! Kids are always waking up in the early morning just to get ready for school, waking up from 6am to 9am, its a struggle for kids, having to wake up, brush there teeth, put on there uniform, and do there hair and than arrive at school. also teachers! not just students, but teachers they work hard just to give us students a better life and a beautiful future ahead us. They want us to have a great life by doing so much work  for students. So I also think if we had a three day weekend the teachers could take a break from doing work all the TIME, so they can spend time with there family and do that much work.

We also should do homework online to keep us from being tired in SCHOOL, because I think at school we do to much work but we never get rest after that. But at home I think after we do our work we get to go take a rest.

And that’s why I think every school should have  three days weekend!!

ocean

As you dive into the beautiful dark clear blue sparkly ocean you can see pretty pink corals swaying around you like its dancing in the moon. You’re still swimming and swimming until you can hear bubbles bubbling up top of your mask, really satisfying. You could feel fishes below your feet swimming around with other fishes, the fishes were really sweet.

After, you could taste saltness in my mouth because of the water, the texture tasted like pretzels covered with a lot of salt, Gosh! I went back up to get some fresh air and when we took off our mask we could smell fresh air coming up our nose. You could smell good food too.

Lastly, You said you’re last goodbye to your little fish friends and soon swam back to the sand. You got back  out, than took the last glance of the beautiful dark clear blue sparkly ocean before going. “Goodbye beautiful ocean, I’ll visit you next time!”

You walked to the bathroom to change. You got change and then went to the car ,you soon took off.

Expectations poster

This is my work from last week. We all had to make a google drawing of each spaces we work in, like we got Hanga which is what i did , The fale which is where we meet up for more talking and talking. Next we got Waka rua which is the other side of the class along with Waka tahi which is in waka rua.

I made a slide about the ¨Hanga.¨ because i think when we are in the Hanga we have to be quiet, Ready with everything, and be on time. ANYWAYS! Being responsibl (kaitiakitanga) by Staying on task, and By acting stafely when ur putting things in the RIGHT place. Lastly Being respectful  (manakitang) by Collaborating and sharing your ideas with others. Keeping an apporpriate noise level. That was it thank you guys

Volcanos – 22/2/2024

On a hot blazing  Monday,  Kea did a very cool fun experiment – A volcano making. My group was Jireh, Saviour,  Kahlia, Tapuaki,  Isi, Lucas and  Myself. We went to the courts walking towards the fake grass, Jireh went to grab some water And sand.

In our tray we had some sand, a spoon, a fruit cup, and a test tube. Jireh came back with the water and poured it in the test tube with baking soda And red food coloring. We shaked it all together. Then we placed at the tip of the volcano which Jireh formed. After, we poured vinegar in the test tube – what an amazing  explosion of red foam.

Our volcano erupted everywhere you see red lava flowing on top of the tip of the mountain. What a fantastic experiment we have done. We headed back to the class, and we thanked Mrs Pondicherry for setting this amazing experiment for us.

THE AMAZING RACE

THE AMAZING RACE

Last Wednesday we had an amazing race. We stayed in our houses. So it was owairaka and puketapapa together and maungakiekie and maungawhau. So we all got into groups but we had to take three takahes. My group was Manu,Nisi, katalina, nevaeh,Eleanor,Nornia.

The amazing race finally started. Everyone was rushing to the puzzles , it was like they were animals fighting. My group did all of   puzzles and it was time to head to the courts to reveal the house winner of the game.

Mr To’oala said stand up if you have more than six. Manu was counting the Puzzles. So after she did that we went up, gave mr To’oala the puzzles. He counted them all ending up we had seven That meant Puketapapa won the whole Amazing race.

We started cheering because we had won. Everybody was thanking us for winning the game. The teacher said he would give us a prize and the prize was an ice block. It was really yummy.

THE END !

why Doctors and Nurses are heros

They help kids when they are sick. There also kind to everybody in the hospital. For example they help sick people on the wheelchairs they push them when they need help. Nurses make them coffee, tea, bread, milo , and some lunch. Doctors and Nurses are brave, strong,Sweet, and caring I remeber when I broke my arm and my sister called the Ambulance to come and take me to Starship but if they didn’t

come fast I would die so thank you to the driver. so I got carried by my sister and a man, then they aslo layed me down on the bed mind you it was really comfortable. so my sister came along with me, once we were there they were pushing me on my bed to the check up room for my arm. and i got this inhale machine for me too breath. My nurses were so nice to me they calmed me down. I was sooo thirsty I needed water but I had to wait. once they finished checking my arm they took me into surgery to sitch my arm. So thats why doctors and nurses are heros. and why I want to be a Doctor/Nurse one day thank you.
